The designer artist is still unknown but he was obviously sensitive to the calls of Vincenzo Scamozzi. The villa was built in the second half of the sixteenth century, simultaneously to the Teatro Olimpico by Andrea Palladio, elegant and severe; during the restoration it revealed frescoes and friezes spread under the beams.
